HUES Games, based in the vibrant city of Berlin, is a small studio with a big creative heart. Our team is passionate about game mechanics and art, and we are currently on the lookout for a talented Sound Designer to join us on an exciting project – “Carbox,” our upcoming car game.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Sound Designer with a passion for gaming and a minimum of 2 years of industry experience to contribute to the audio excellence of our project, Carbox. As a Sound Designer at HUES, you will collaborate closely with our development team, leveraging your Unreal Engine expertise to create a unique auditory experience for players.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to understand the vision and goals of the Carbox project.
• Design and implement high-quality audio assets, including engine sounds, tire screeches, and ambient noises, to enhance the realism and immersion of the car game.
• Utilize Unreal Engine to integrate and optimize audio elements seamlessly within the gaming environment.
• Iterate and refine audio assets based on feedback from the development team to achieve the desired emotional impact.
• Contribute your creative insights to shape the unique sound identity of Carbox.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the gaming industry as a Sound Designer.
• Proficient in sound design software and tools.
• Experience with Unreal Engine.
• A portfolio showcasing previous work, with a focus on gaming or interactive media.
• Passion for car games and a deep understanding of the nuances of automotive audio.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
